This Position
We have an immediate opening for a Senior Software Engineer in our New York City headquarters. We seek the best and brightest individuals to build out our product line. Our ownership culture means you will have end-to-end responsibility for your products from initial design through production support. In this role, you will be faced with tackling complex technical challenges, providing leadership over your product area, interfacing with senior management, and collaborating with other team members.
The right individual will have a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals. Experience with one or more of the technologies we use is a plus, but not a requirement. We hire skilled, versatile engineers that can pick up new technologies quickly.
Responsibilities
* Build and own our video advertising and analytics platform
* Manage releases and support our production environment
* Work on a cross-functional team to agree business requirements and product direction
* Interface with our support team and rapidly respond to issues / requests
* Evaluate new technologies for introduction into our platform
Requirements
* B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related field
* Graduated from a top-tier university or computer science / technology program a plus
* At least 4 years server-side web application development
* Knowledgeable in core computer science disciplines (data structures, algorithms, etc.)
* Ability to rapidly learn new technologies
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Motivated, self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
